Content Creation: Our Marketing Specialist’s Focus
Our Marketing Specialist, Becca Novak was given the opportunity to attend a social media training hosted by the Home Builders Association of Greater Des Moines. She was featured as a panel speaker for Instagram/Facebook stories and she also led a breakout session on blogging. Becca has been with Home Solutions of Iowa for about 9 months with a focus on content creation. Taking full control of all social media channels and posting blogs; Becca’s goal is to push content in unique and new ways. Content has been the focus of our companies marketing tactics and having one of our own employees asked to share their insights was an exciting time for us.
Content Is King
This is a common term we use on a daily basis when talking about writing content. It is the now and future of marketing which is what we push here at Home Solutions of Iowa. In her presentation, she spoke on common blog tips, searches, and topics to write about. Being in the home industry, content comes in a different aspect. Home remodeling can be confusing and hard to understand what product to go with so explaining it in a unique and fun way the consumer can understand is important. Another aspect of her presentation that she spoke on was community engagement. Each company has a brand and it is important to show the human side of that brand. She shared her insights on what type of community events and work culture events that a business can share with their customers. Being able to talk about an accomplishment or something fun that the company did is a great way to show the human side. Congrats Becca on a great presentation.
