October is a time to recognize and highlight the various careers in the construction industry. The construction industry is one of the fastest growing industries while also being the most in-demand industry as well. It is an industry that is in need of sharing its positive aspects. For over 20 years, we have been a huge advocate for educating the youth on the benefits of getting a job in the construction industry. To celebrate careers in construction, we are here to highlight the benefits of taking on a job in this industry and a few positions that are offered at Home Solutions of Iowa.
One way we love to showcase and promote construction jobs is by participating in Build My Future. This is an event focused on teaching the youth of Iowa about all the different careers they can pursue without going to a 4-year college. Last year, we were able to showcase our roofing side. The youth had the ability to learn how a roof is installed and even took part in helping out installing the roof.
